The olive tree (olea europaea) is a slow-growing and fragrant evergreen, originating from Asia. Most green olives are now imported from Spain for their culinary use and in order to produce olive oil which is widely used in cooking. Before they are distributed around the world, green olives are usually fermented in a brine solution with sugar.
We use green olives in our products because they are rich in vitamins that nourish the skin's epidermic layer, and improve the tensile strength of the hair.
Along with the health benefits of olive oil when used in cooking, the product has many topical benefits, and is a popular skin treatment for sunburn, inflammation and dry skin. This carrier oil is also used in massage to allow more potent essential oils to be used directly on the skin, making it a popular aromatherapy choice.
